Brian LaVine is a Senior Associate Attorney at Maverick Ray & Associates. He grew up in Austin, Texas where he attended James Bowie High School and the University of Texas at Austin. In May 2012, Brian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a minor in History.

Brian enrolled at South Texas College of Law in August 2012. While in law school, he focused on criminal law and trial advocacy. Brian was a quarterfinalist in the 2014 Abraham Watkins Intramural Mock Trial Competition. He was also an intern at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for a year in both the misdemeanor and felony divisions. Brian graduated South Texas College of Law a semester early and received his Juris Doctor degree in December 2014. After successfully passing the Texas Bar Exam, Brian joined Maverick Ray & Associates as an Associate Attorney.
