Attorney Profile

Matthew Marzak

CIVIL LITIGATION

Matthew Marzak grew up playing sports and was very active in school. He graduated high school in 2005 in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2005 he served in the United States Marine Corps before he was honorably discharged in February 2009.

In the fall of 2009, Matt attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and then went on to pursue his law degree at Texas Southern University in Houston.

During law school, Matthew interned at one of Texas’s premier law firms, Abraham Watkins. He also interned at Tribble & Ross, where he was offered an Associate Attorney position and practiced insurance defense. With both jobs he gained knowledge and experience that has been extremely helpful in his career.

In 2016, Matthew joined Maverick Ray & Associates as a civil lawyer. It was then that he developed the civil department. He helped grow the firm from just a single client to a multi-million-dollar practice. Matthew is a knowledgeable, charismatic, and persuasive attorney who will incessantly fight for the best possible outcome. Matthew represents clients in cases arising from vehicular accidents, 18-wheeler wrecks, workplace harassment, and defective products, among others. Although insurance companies and big businesses always seem to have the upper hand, Matthew sees his job as trying to level the playing field. His maxim: “Fight for the People … And Justice For All.”
